Our Roots

The word "Cyber" in the Greek, means to "Pilot and to Guide", which defines our mission to pilot and guide more women into the career paths of Cyber Security, Engineering & Flight, where women are currently under represented.  The Fly Girls portion of the name is in honor of the  Female Pilots of WWII These women flew bravely during the War, and expected to become part of the military during their service, but instead the program was canceled after just two years.  These pilots have continued to fight to be recognized for their service. 

Cyber Fly Girls provides a pathway to success by introducing young women to exciting and fun STEM programs as well as providing mentoring and leadership support to women in their future college and workplace decisions.
